iGoogle page could work as a personal web page. Created a new page in iGoogle for your Blogs & Wikis (educational and personal) When you locate a blog such 'Free Technology for Teachers' -http://www.freetech4teachers.com/ you can Subscribe with the RSS logo- Subscribe with Google- Add to Google Homepage
The RSS for blogs and wikis does not accomodate e-mail. Google does have a gadget for g-mail. 'Add Stuff' in the upper right of iGoogle page> They did offer a beta version for pop3 e-mail (which should be your school e-mail type) but it did not work when I tried it. There is a great gadget for bookmarks that you should try. 'Add Stuff'> Gadgets> communication>bookmarks

We can discuss '21 Things' which is Michigan modules for Web 2.0 tools for PD Or 'delicious' for online bookmarking... Or 'adding interactives for students' for adding (embedding or linking) to your wiki/website Or iGoogle page for personal (very cool!) gathering of blogs, wikis, news, weather.... Think about what you might present to your staff.
